Pissouri Village is situated in the main vine growing area of Cyprus. Overlooking the coast, this traditional village is set off the main Paphos to Limassol road on the south side of a hill, approximately 1,000 feet above sea level.
It is acknowledged by most travellers to be one of the most attractive and charismatic villages in Cyprus. The village square together with the orthodox church polarize the life of the village strewn with small shops: supermarket, bakery, banks and postal service.
Several family-run tavernas serve visitors excellent food at competitive prices.
The village has a very friendly atmosphere and in the warm evenings, the locals gather in the village square to chatter. One can easily integrate as most Cypriots speak English.
